One veg cap a day of Extra Strength Policosanol has 40 mg policosanol (from cane sugar), 200 mg of pine phytosterol powder (soy free), and 150 mg hawthorn berry (Crataegus laevigata and/or monogyna) (fruit). Policosanol is a blend of long-chain fatty alcohols (LCFAs) derived from sugar cane. LCFAs are naturally occurring plant waxes. Studies indicate that these plant waxes may help to support cholesterol levels already within the normal range.* This formula also includes plant sterols (from pine) and hawthorn berry for additional support. This extra strength product has four times the policosanol (40 mg per capsule) than our regular strength product (10 mg per capsule). Natural color variation may occur in this product. Take 1 capsule daily, preferably with a meal.
