Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
- How is the nasal spray different from nicotine gum?
- The nasal spray is our fastest-acting form of Nicotine Replacement Therapy. It delivers nicotine through the nasal lining for more rapid absorption and quicker craving relief compared to the oral absorption from gums or lozenges.
- How do I use the spray correctly?
- It is very important NOT to sniff, swallow, or inhale through your nose while you are spraying. Simply insert the tip into your nostril, point it towards the back of your nose (not straight up), and press firmly once. This allows the nicotine to be absorbed by the nasal lining.
- Will it make me sneeze or have a runny nose?
- Some users may experience temporary effects like a hot, peppery feeling in the back of the throat, sneezing, or a runny nose when first using the spray. These sensations are normal for a nasal spray and usually become less frequent with continued use.
